February 23, 2019 - Double blind. Lovely dark fruit notes with violet undertones. Incense, black fruit and chocolate flavors. Full-bodied and ripe, but not overdone. Guessed Napa cab sauv.

September 9, 2018 - Big and bold, with fresh tobacco, smoke and a hint of leather, Tons of jammy fruit. I enjoyed it with grilled kebabs. 92-93

March 6, 2018 - Chewy Argentinean Cab. Dark and somewhat jammy although there was sufficient tannin to keep it from being cloying. None of the leathery, tobacco or barnyard subtly of a Bordeaux, even a Haute Medoc. Good for following food, preferably beef. At $30/bottle there is some value here. Oh, 14.2% alcohol heady stuff.
