March 10, 2019 - Last bottle of six, at least five years since #5.
    Dark golden yellow.
Well intergrated oak, really beautiful mature fruit exotic n the nose. Butterscotch, honey, vanilla subtly telling the story of a chardonnay that has aged gracefully and perform off the chart. Rated previous bottles 90-92. Rarely a bottle improve so exceptionally late in life.

September 17, 2015 - Golden colour. Oxidised and past peak. SA-chardonnay shall most certainly be consumed within 7-8 years from vintage.

January 23, 2009 - Excellent complement to baked fish and Ratatouille. Nice oak. Opened easily into several variable levels of complexity. Very smooth finish, almost buttery.

October 29, 2008 - Quite enjoyable. Perhaps a bit oaky, but crisp and surprisingly acidic.

January 22, 2008 - Pulled from cheap chinese wine keeper (53F), pop & pour into riedel wineline chablis glasses. Decent nose of minerals & lemon. Angular, strong, clean fruit with a strong key lime note. Big acid. Medium long clean somewhat complex finish. Very clean and sharp. Softened slightly over an hour and a half and become slightly rounder, although still quite clean and angular. Very good.

(HAMILTON RUSSELL CHARDONNAY) #2; VaynerPAZZZ; COLOR-very golden; NOSE-very smoky, golden, big apple, butter, oak, cream, burgundian; TASTE-hint of pineapple well integrated with the flavors of butter & oak, little too much acidity on mid-palate, big finish, lots of flavor, a little over-the-top w/ the oak for me, lot of heat & acidity, WS-91; GV-88
