April 6, 2024 - Carafé plus de 3 heures. Nez intense sur la cassonade.
Puissant et intense, m'a paru plus équilibré que la dernière bouteille bue en 2021.
Boisé et sur la vanille, les dattes et le raisin de Corinthe.
Pas mal bon avec un Ribeye.
March 31, 2024 - Always just a kick ass wine! year in and year out one of the best values in quality wine. I just wish the ABV was lower!
March 22, 2024 - Excellent at 10 years old. Still has more life. Paired well with steamed artichokes and smoked mackerel. Enjoyable to sip after dinner.
February 20, 2024 - Last of 4 bottles - didn't take any notes but my prior notes are still on point. Both a crowd pleaser given the fruit and with appeal to wine snobs. Clearly at peak but no sign of oxidation. 93+/-
January 17, 2024 - What a great wine! It always is. Delicious even with a PnP. One of the best values in a Spanish wine. Wines like this are why I am plowing through my cellar to consume the wide variety of wine I have so I can replace then with wines like this that are always great, year-in, year-out.

October 12, 2023 - Big, rich, and powerful, but very balanced, with earthy notes of black cherries, minty herbs, oak, and bottle age complexity. It's unsurprisingly youthful, yet approachable, especially with air. The flavors turn juicy and succulent after 1+ hour in the decanter, with Tootsie Roll intensity on the long, sapid finish. Impressive finesse for such a massive wine.
October 5, 2023 - As always, a real crowd pleaser and just plain perfectly crafted and blended wine.
September 17, 2023 - The 2014 mag is at it's peak now, IMO. Everything has softened - jamminess is gone, still a little bit of oak, but more velvety than jammy now. Decanted for a full hour; probably enough. Paired great with steak, salmon and chocolate. A clear WOTN for a holiday crowd of 10.
