November 14, 2021 - Like this a lot. Maybe a little more than the last bottle of it. Opened and decanted about an hour plus before drinking. A little oaky savoryness and light berry flavors.

November 15, 2020 - Lighter flavor, light tannins remain, smooth accompanied well with vegetarian mushroom based dinner. Light berry and grape hints

August 19, 2018 - Medium garnet red. Red to the rim. Shows very little aging. Nose of light oak, blackberry and dark cherry. Flavors of ripe dark fruit, (cherry, raspberry, blueberry) with a hint of vanilla. Smooth, but present tannins tended to mute the flavors even 1 hour after opening. The wine did settle down after breathing for a while, but the flavors never came up to aroma levels. There are still several years left in this wine.

November 19, 2017 - Started a bit tart, but after breathing a bit it balanced out to be silky smooth and enjoyable.

June 18, 2016 - Started off big and powerful with layered blackberry, dark cherry, and dark chocolate. After 2 hours of air the flavors began melding more together and the wine became a little one-dimensional. A little cloying. If you like "bigger is better" this is for you but I found it to be a little too sweet. Tannins almost fully resolved.
