February 26, 2022 - 4th Saturday Group Cellar Diminishment (Sue’s): Excellent. Black fruit on the nose and palate, with hints of spice and vanilla. Cassis carries the finish. (SS)

August 14, 2021 - Still my favorite Girard Cab - the '13 Howell Mountain is just excellent in my opinion. Drinking really well across the board. This will cellar for another 5 years with some improvement, and probably hold well for an additional 5-7 years.

November 8, 2020 - Howell mountain is the best of Girard's vineyard-specific cabernets. So tasty

March 13, 2020 - Enjoyed with friends - and we all agreed the 13 Howell is really drinking well. The nose is your first tell, followed by a nicely integrated and full finish. This is one of those bottles you wish had purchased a few extra.
