December 26, 2023 - A nose of dark fruit and some spice, dark garnet in color. A medium to full bodied red, with black cherry, cassis, licorice and spice on finish, was very good, drink now. www.winelx.com

December 3, 2022 - This absolutely needs to be decanted for sediment. Dark garnet color. Black fruit on the nose but comes across a bit baked and raisiny. Some toasty oak and dark chocolate coming through as well along with a hint of tobacco. Similar flavors on the palate with stewed blackberry and a slightly sweet finish. Medium acid and tannin. Still a solid wine but has definitely fallen off since my last bottle so I would drink up if holding any.

September 17, 2021 - I have not had one of these in several years and was very impressed with how this came together. Very nice balance of black fruits, toasty oak and now some interesting vegetal and earthy flavors have developed with a bit of mint on the finish. Medium+ acid, medium tannin. Very smooth on the palate. Drinks like an older style of Napa cabernet. Excellent value for the price paid. Glad I aged these.

April 11, 2020 - People need to be nicer to Bello. This one has settled in fantastically after a decade in the bottle. Warm fruit, plush tannins and a delightful peppery finish.
