September 29, 2023 - Recommended by RP. PnP. Dark red color. Nose tells me it’s over the hill with wood and massive green pepper. Reserved on the palate with peppers and sour cherries. Thin and short finish.

November 29, 2020 - Possibly one of the best wines I've had recently, which wasn't totally expected. Deep ruby color; Black and Blue-berry notes, mixed with graphite note and mild oak that all carry over to the palate; long, lingering finish with mid-tannin. The nose was amazing with first pour...but the wine opened up after an hour and was drinking beautifully. Wonderful now, but I am guessing this would be even better better over the next 3 years. Will look for more.

June 5, 2019 - Exhibits Southern Italian characteristics rather than Tuscan. Not particularly complex, but very quaffable and went great with our rosemary/tomato chicken. Violets and blueberry nose, with the addition of fennel on the palate. Tannins dissipating now.
October 17, 2016 - S'ok, flavors fade quickly, not very complex, better the second night. Good wine for guests! Super delicious? No.
September 28, 2016 - I like this a lot. Nice nose. I smell cherry in vanilla. Soft on the palate. Beautiful long legs. Would I get it again? Maybe and maybe not. It draws me in but not engineers enough.
June 24, 2016 - A bunch of wines with friends (Pine Lake Trout Club): Purple/ruby in color. The nose has a dusty cherry note. Also some roasted herbs (rosemary?). On the palate, the cherries continue. Not a lot of fruit. Firm tannins. The acidity is lacking a bit. This is a nice wine, but doesn't reach those heights. I was told some reviewer gave this a really high score according to the distributor. I have some doubts about that. That said, at the right price, this is fine for drinking right now.
April 20, 2016 - Needs time, but shows potential. Not sure if there's enough fruit to make it work though.
December 27, 2015 - Can't mistake this old world nose! Full of fruit but spicy with a short finish. Not sure what to make of this, other than its different.
