November 24, 2012 - Definitely over the hill. Cork was "rotted" on top - but seemed fine when pulled out. Color is very yellow - almost golden. Nose is sweet (yeasty?) and palate is peculiar - weak, spent, oxidized? Finish is beer-like and despite being drinkable (somewhat) it just seems off. Drink now or discard.

May 13, 2010 - My friends believed this one was premoxed. If so, it was only oxidized to some degree. I would rather argue that it had past its prime. While not crispy, the wine still had a typical Chardonnay (albeit not Chablis) profile with good acidity backing things up. Lots of hazelnuts in the nose and a rather straightforward palate... Not really matching the quality of a Grand Cru, but honestly I detected no flaws in the wine. Drink up!

March 11, 2007 - A wonderful soft wine with a delicious dry style but not crisp. The best Chardonnay I've had.
