Community Tasting Notes 5

March 19, 2016 - This wine was tasted as part of a bigger Bordeaux tasting, so the note might be a little bit short:

ruby red, smells nicely of dried oranges, smooth in the mouth, a rather short finish, nice though

July 28, 2015 - This is an excellent example of aged bordeaux. Bright crystal clarity on pouring. Still a profound ruby to dark cherry garnet core color. Slightly sweet fruit in the mouth. Depth of flavor and powerful concentration that has now evolved into a refined, balanced, beautiful red wine. Must have been excellently cellared. The bottom sixth of the cork stayed in the neck upon opening, then popped! Into the bottle!

September 8, 2014 - Excellent vin. Profond, pourpre et sang, parfumé, corsé, cèdre, tabac, truffe, mûre, bonnes longueur et présence, finale alcoolique, pleine maturité avec tannins intégrés.

November 14, 2011 - When corona forces you to work at home (March 28, 2020) than you go cleaning, so I found this tasting note. A light colour, ripe, but flat bouquet, also missing complexity in the taste, alcohol noticeable in the finish.

May 10, 2010 - Tasted at a NCWS "Cru Bourgeois Exceptionnel" tasting. Mature nose. Some sweetness, some fruit (now rather strawberry-like). It is now a little faded and would probably have scored more highly a few years ago.
