December 6, 2016 - Burgundy Red. France. Burgundy, Bourgogne Appelation. Light rose color. Hint of fruit followed by slight wood boquet. Light body burst my fruit with a mouhfuldose of acidic. Pleasant simple light tannin with a short staccato, fun finish. I like it as a fun -- non-complex -- wine that reminds of a maybe simpler Gamay, Boujaleas Village.

October 9, 2016 - Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): Marzipan, red tending to black fruit, sweet spice almost clove and slight smoky bonfire notes - stalks I'm guessing. Just but more strawberry fruit on the palate that is slightly unripe with firm tannic grip, especially the front of the mouth, that dries but is in balance with the acid. Okay
