November 24, 2019 - More old school sm pinot with weedy, rhubarb, minty and tomato notes over classic raspberry tones. Med body with a brisk slightly tart finish. Not worth another purchase but the vineyards and winery are gorgeous.

February 18, 2019 - Very nice Central Coast Santa Maria PN. As good as other high quality producers in the area.

December 24, 2018 - Nose and color more like Willamette pinot noir. On the palette it’s dark raspberry, dried currants, a bit of leather maybe. Medium minus body, but long finish. A little disappointed in the lack of body (at least initially, as others have noted), but I will say it got better as the wine opened over an hour or so. I’m still not sure I’d buy it again though.

December 17, 2018 - decanted for about 1.5 hours. Plenty of layers/depth (if you're paying attention) with lots of bright and tart fruit like raspberries currants, but also with some deeper chocolatey/velvety flavors.
All in all a pretty good wine and about what you'd expect for $40 from this area.

October 29, 2017 - This is a noticeable step down from their single vineyard wines, particularly as it pertains to the mid-palate and general richness. This is still a very fresh and enjoyable wine, it almost skews into Trousseau and Poulsard territory. Given the lighter structure and lack of flavor concentration, I would drink these sooner, rather than later.

September 28, 2017 - Very nice pinot. Good notes of berry on the nose and on the palate raspberries and spice. Good moderately long finish but a bit thin with light feel in the mouth.

July 3, 2017 - Very light purple, medium body. Nose dominated by a pleasant mushroom aroma, touch of spice box behind. Dry, but not bone-dry; low but present acidity, cheerful red fruit on palate, not much tannin extraction, finish brief and unobjectionable. Suffered from being poured next to an '03 1er Cru Chambolle, next to which both the nose and the palate seemed boisterous. But held its own, both bottles were consumed with a dinner of roasted chicken over quinoa and wild rice.
