November 21, 2020 - French-themed dinner at home: Faded pink color with a short mousse and fine bead. This has wonderful red berry qualities in abundance, on both the nose and palate. There's a touch of something along the lines of clay in the bouquet, as well as wet biscuit dough. Strawberry tones emerge on the palate. I'd put this bottle at 90 on its own, however, it was a beautiful match for the bouillabase and worthy of a couple of points paired with that course.

November 18, 2018 - Second Sunday Group: 2016 Châteauneuf-du-Pape (Our house): Nonblind starter before the warm ups. Nice berry fruit and floral elements. A nice rose for the money.
