April 13, 2024 - Notes similar to prior bottles. Very good, drinking well.

March 24, 2024 - Much better and back to form after a weird / shut down bottle last year from the same case. Pure Vosne with so much spice, black tea and polished black cherry fruit. At peak and speaks transparently to producer + terroir + vintage.

January 1, 2024 - Brilliant ruby. Spicy, elegant, refined, beautifully balanced. A hint of creaminess, framed by perfect acidity. Superb on opening — and thereafter in small pours, gassed in between, over the next two nights. This seems to be a great spot now, but still we will try to hold remaining bottle for a few years.

    December 24, 2023 - Classic Vosne

November 9, 2023 - PNP into Riedel Yoichi Pinot Noir glass (“No” day): Pale bright ruby to the eyes.

Ethereal salt preserved organic dark red cherries, plums. Dried florals and herbs. Minty and menthol.

Highly mineral and acidity. Highly detailed fruit details. Silky tannins. Long persistent and precise finish.

It’s always good to go back to a Bourgogne like this. This has a long life ahead. 94-95 points easy.
