November 23, 2023 - See previous tasting notes; agree that this would benefit from at least a few more years in the cellar. Still tight. Better with a decant and several hours of air. Hold.

September 24, 2023 - A very classic Chambolle; tart red fruits and crushed rock with a hint of orange peel; still feels a bit strict and linear, but becomes more floral and less tight with air. Good and still with upside.

September 12, 2023 - Red currant and cherries, soil, spices and some bitter notes. Good density and length. Not yet fully accessible. Another 2 years of cellar snooze will be beneficial.

    August 4, 2023 - Medium cerise.
Compared to a few recent experiences this was, with sufficient air, quite breathtaking: smoke, strawberry, dark cherries, violets, citrus, tea, mineral, set off with some interesting savoury nuances of black sesame, soy, weightless, lithe, powerful incredibly graceful and balanced, filigree really, especially fine tannins.

November 21, 2022 - Cool red fruit: Red currant, some cherries and soil. Still young, with medium acidity, the last glass has been the best. For those who have time: wait another 3 years.

November 12, 2022 - Blind tasting: was decanted for 2 hours. On the nose: mushroom, dried leaves, tree bark, black cherry, some minerality. Med body, med acidity, med+ tannins, and good length. Delicate mouthfeel but with some substance. In a good place right now with the secondary notes showing. Really enjoyed this wine.

September 20, 2022 - Dark red fruit on the nose, spices, on the palate more on retreat: cranberries, some cherries, soil and salt. The nose shows where the wine will be in some years. Excellent juice, still pretty young.

August 3, 2022 - A medium to dark red, nearly but not quite opaque. Fragrant on the nose, quite floral as well as good depth of red and black fruit, cranberry, cherry. However far less pretty on the palate than I was anticipating, and felt very young with a certain underlying toughness that made it come across as dense and rather unyielding - a lack of cohesion and a definite need for further integration. The last glass was the best, as is frequently the case, but having tasted it I think I would leave this for another two years for it to come together better.
