August 8, 2022 - Refined cherry cola, coffee, cocoa. Still a hint of green. Fresh first taste a quickly matures into its age and baked fruit. 100% Delicious! A favorite as I was learning wine in our home. Last one in the cellar. Paired perfectly with roast lamb. An appreciated sacrifice on both accounts. It will be missed.

August 24, 2019 - 90 DF Intense, shows her venerable age. Deep tawny, slow moving tears. Dark cherries, licorice, raspberries, orange peel, caramel. This almost drink like a port due to its age. Full bodied, medium to high acidity. NI:3, FI:22, FC:8, B:3, L:4
August 6, 2019 - Excellent Rioja. Paired well with our homemade tacos and with the brownies that came after.

June 26, 2019 - cheers - wow, I've had 10-15 of these over the past few years, and this was the best one yet. A value-priced Rioja going on 10 years old that's still improving....I only have 3 left!
October 4, 2018 - This bottle was a good Rioja Reserva. It has held up well with a lot of fresh fruit on the front and lots of body in the middle. The bottle showed a nice tannic finish. It could show even better in the next 5+ years. Good value.
August 14, 2018 - Not excellent, but quite Interesting, even after one day after opening (keep under vacuum). Full, rich, good medium level rioja.
June 26, 2018 - cheers - a bit concerned as i still have a case of this....i opened a bottle tonight and was starting to turn....not corked, but going bad....i drained it down the sink and opened another...this one is fine...but now I'm wondering how fast i need to drink these
