January 1, 2024 - Still youthful but drinking well. Hints of brioche on the nose and lots of ripe apples. More apples in the flavour with a twist of lemon and hints of yeast. As always with Lanson there is good underlying acidity which keeps it fresh. Thankfully not overpowering. Fine stream of bubbles and good finish. Classy. Has years ahead of it.
December 24, 2023 - Still sharp/acidic which slightly overpowering, some tertiary notes showing with touch of oak. Hold for more development
December 23, 2023 - No flare on the cork - disgorged 2018 as this is the last of a case purchased 2019. Good bubble train and mid golden colour. Nose a pronounced brioche - very forward. Baked apple on the palate with a nice integrated finish. Definitely ready to drink absolutely a pointe.
September 10, 2023 - My last bottle. Still an excellent wine with a solid fruit core (both apple and citrus), intensity and very good length. I do find, however, that the acidity - in this bottle at least - has become a tad too prominent to warrant the 'outstanding' epithet and 90 points.
September 9, 2023 - Aromas of ripe apples, baked citrus, autolysis and toast. Sharp on the palate, with pronounced acidity. Good concentration.
June 2, 2023 - This was really quite enjoyable; fresh and citrus/mineral driven with some hints of lees; great and racy feel, but very well balanced; should age well

October 26, 2022 - Excellent balance not too powerful like some form the vintage.
October 23, 2022 - Aroma of toast (as in fried bread) and white fruits. Good fruit in the mouth, and well balanced against the fresh acidity. Long aftertaste. Excellent wine at its prime.
October 22, 2022 - Aromas of baked citrus, autolysis and some toast. A delicious Champagne with a bit sweet fruit and good concentration.
