November 9, 2017 - Bright ruby color. Cherry, ripe raspberry. Violet, subtle herbs, some pepper. Heavy notes of earth and rock. Black soil. Asphalt. On the palate, tart black fruit, tart raspberry, earth, leather, some smokiness. Medium high acidity, medium plus tannins, medium high alcohol. Lingering, evolving finish. Delightful.
