December 23, 2023 - Showing real well at this age. Nice heavy mountain red, good for winter.
August 27, 2023 - Smooth, delicious. Solidly in its drinking window.
January 28, 2023 - Delicious wine. Big dark fruit with enough leather, dark chocolate, dried herbs and fennel notes to make it interesting. Not just another big jammy California cab. And yes, paired wonderfully with a ribeye. Drinking beautifully now.
January 8, 2023 - Too dark, too ripe, too much alcohol at 15.2%. Not my preferred style. It’s a well-made wine for sure. It just drinks too much like a dry port for my tastes. Pair with a ribeye for best results.
December 17, 2022 - Decanted, such an elegant wine, ripe fruit still is showing along with polished tannis, right in the drink window..IMO

November 7, 2022 - The Monte Rosso dirt certainly asserts itself in the finish. Very enjoyable and a change of pace from jammy Cabs.
