August 11, 2020 - Cork disintegrated but didn't affect wine. Loads of blackcurrant, eucalypt, coffee and earthy characteristics. Drink up, it was smooth but missing a bit of body.

April 10, 2019 - Same notes as the previous bottle: a mouthfilling, powerful cabernet with blackfruits, nutmeg and a hint of chocolate mint. Not OTT though, and its ability to last this long - with no indication of peaking yet - is impressive (A-).

September 4, 2018 - Deeply coloured with a bit of bricking. There's a lovely, rich nose full of blackfruits, cedar and a hint of chocolate mint. Full bodied, with similar flavours, a plush texture that really coats the mouth, a healthy tannic structure and a long finish as well. Quite youthful at 15 years old! To nitpick, there is still a little overt oak on the palate, but there's certainly also powerful fruit and healthy tannins and acidity. Drinking well now, but should last several years. I'll try to hold off on my last bottle in 3-4 years. An impressive wine (A-).

February 2, 2013 - Very dark cherry, some bricking. Blackberries, blackberry, nutmeg, cinnamon, fine leather, cigarbox on the nose. Blackberries, black cherries on the palate. Tannins are integrated and low. Drinking very nicely right now.

August 13, 2012 - This was great. Lovely mature Cabernet. Actually no sign of (overly) advanced age, yet alone actual decline. Colour was deep garnet with no tawny tones noticed.
