February 15, 2019 - The wine looks garnet colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like red currant, black currant (cassis) and stoniness. It tastes like red currant, black currant (cassis), prune, plum, light toast and stoniness. The body is medium/full. The wine has round texture. The wine finishes long.

January 10, 2018 - Nice light easy drinker. Not offensive in any way - nice balance too. Drinking well right now. Great value for the price. Popped and poured with no aeration or decant. Drank just fine over 4 days with none on day 3.

November 11, 2017 - Medium ruby red. Lots of red cherries and a bit of twigs on the nose. A little savory too. Not as fruity as the 2015 Estate Malbec. Light tannins (4/10) and light bodied. Palate has notes of red cherries, spices, and a bit floral. Short finish with acidity. Drink now.

October 2, 2017 - Leather and oak nose. Mineral is prominent with hints of vanilla, oak, leather, mushroom and earth. Motor oil esters (similarly known in cheap tequila) fades completely with sufficient decanting when light citrus acidity appears. Pronounced mineral mouth feel followed by nice tea-like tannin. 2015 has much less fruit and cocoa than previous years. Terroir snobs might raise an eyebrow at this value wine.

September 2, 2017 - Round nose but acerbic mouth.
