Nez discret d'arômes minéraux, de fines herbes, de petites baies rouges et de vieille barrique. Acidité bien prononcée avec des tannins fins. Son fruit est mûr et discret. Meilleur avec le repas de spaghetti à la viande sauce tomate. Courte finale. -

August 25, 2021 - Decanted and needed 30 min to soften, remained in decanter for another 3 hrs and only improved over time. Gorgeous nose of licorice, dark cherries and tobacco. Medium weighted, lean body with good acidity, more cherries and pyrazine action. Well made, for the long run, it could age gracefully.

April 27, 2021 - Très beau et typique d'un VNDM âgé. Définitivement un riserva avec ses arômes balsamiques...vieille barrique, épices à bois et cuir, et sa pointe sèche venant de son séjour en barrique (18 mois plus). Son fruit noir est mûr et discret. Corsé et texturé. Saveurs de cuir prédominent. Moyenne à longue finale. Boire d'ici quelques années encore.

August 12, 2019 - Popped and poured. Pretty nose of flowers, spices and some oak. Good acidity and finish but the mid-palate is a bit lacking. Still a great pairing with pasta, red sauce and salad! I don’t think you will get much more out of this one with time, but it is not on the downhill yet.
