September 8, 2019 - Past it’s prime
Thin with minimal fruit and a tea like quality
February 4, 2019 - Herbal, earthy bouquet. Wine was closed at the start. Developed into herbs, plum, currant, slight vinegarish (maybe due to storage issues). Slight lingering soil aftertaste. Got better with decanting - overall balanced, with slight edges. feel the alcohol warmth at the end, with slight eucalyptus finish. Didn’t leave a deep impression but enjoyable. Leave it out for at least an hour. Feel it is past it’s prime
August 27, 2017 - Sehr gute Nase, va. nach Kirsch.
Runder Geschmack, Kirsch, Erdbeere, Kaffee, Waldboden.
Mean structure, beautiful nose. The wine has its best days behind it. However, not too long. Very drinkable, but with acid present. Is not quite immersed with air .... Had not thought that this 92 ist drinkable...but it is! 90/100
December 26, 2009 - Drank on christmas day...We opened this old fella...very light...but it gained weight and became incredibly good...there where actually at a point tannin in the glass...very smooth, silky excellent and amazing for such an off vintage...www.everyoneweb.com/chateaujochen
November 23, 2007 - Light but healthy, some piquancy, delicious aroma of creamy strawberries and raspberries, spices.
October 7, 2007 - Light of course, but also creamy and smoky with rosehip fruit, fresh but no edges, healthy, some stuffing, good length, drying but perfumed.
August 15, 2007 - Light but juicy and with lovely oak, good fruit, spices, good terroir. Shows its class.
December 26, 2006 - Fully mature of course; nice crushed red fruit, a touch of spicy oak, refreshing, light and elegant. A very successful 1992.
April 21, 2004 - dégusté le 21 avril 2004 avec mélissa, olivier et stéphanie: un grand vin agréable et si peu représentatif du milésime. Très rond en bouche avec des aromes doux et complexe de moka et de fruits nois
