December 26, 2022 - Opened last night and tasted side by side against a 2000 and the 1999 was clearly better for us. The color was still youthful and the nose was old school Bordeaux of dark cherry and wet earth. The palate was more youthful than the 2000, and the 3 tasting notes below seem to capture our experience. The palate was dark cherry, red fruit, and the Pomerol terroir comes through with still enough tannins to balance out the finish. I would not wait more on this and it should be drank sooner than later so as to capture this wine in a good place

November 7, 2021 - Ruby red in the glass.
This is downright barnyard on the nose. Giving it some air ads some red fruit, raspberry and cherry. As I write this, the nose continues to improve. Surprising on the palate, fruit forward with medium body, moderate acid and moderate tannin. It’s seemingly still a powerful young wine with lots of time left. This should unfold nicely over the night. Try again in 3 years.

January 30, 2021 - Soya sauce, red beets, earthy, forest floor, good length, complex, reached its plateau, will last for 4 to 8 years, last bottle. A very good Pomerol in an average vintage.

September 9, 2020 - Firm, bright, earthy, leafy and all about the bright red fruits, the medium-bodied wine is better on the nose than on the lean, almost Medocian palate.

March 23, 2020 - Fruit lacking a bit. Earth tones. Overall pleasant wine.
