April 18, 2024 - In a fantastic place right now

March 30, 2024 - Whoa this thing is still a powerful. Massively expressive nose and matching palette. Heavy and potent. Ripe black and red fruit, spices, touch of chocolate, more than a hint of figs. Lush mouthfeel but grippy finish. 20 years old but seems like it probably has years left ahead of it.

October 6, 2023 - What a joy! Didnt know what to expect and then just a minute after opening the bottle it became clear this is an absolute joy! Not Cabernet no Syrah, well known from other regions but this wine from CA clearly is of great quality and still in 2023!

March 26, 2022 - 13 years since my last bottle. Was excellent and incredibly youthful. Zero hurry to drink these up, it has another couple decades of good drinking IMO. Great with NY strip. Quite impressed.

December 25, 2021 - Popped and poured. Super dark, no sign of any age. Cherry, red fruit, almost a sweetness on the palate. Followed by burnt rubber, tar, slightly piney flavors. Medium finish. Similar from previous bottle 3 years ago so it seems to holding up fine.
