December 12, 2023 - Great Paulliac-like Bordeaux. Red and dark berries. Still some tannins left, but very well integrated. Long finish. 5-10 years of life ahead. 94-95

December 22, 2018 - Decanted and allowed to open for about 2 hours.
The wine looks crimson colored. The legs are slow. There is light sediment in the bottle. It smells like fig. The body is medium/full. The wine has smooth texture. The wine finishes long. The wine has low acidity.

November 15, 2017 - Took an hour or so to knock the dust off, musty to start and then revealed some secondary flavors..still has some fruit left but god some tobacco and forest floor. pretty nice old wine but if you have this you should drink up soon...not going to make it much farther.

August 23, 2015 - My last bottle. Cork dissolved but still a lovely, background tannins and luscious. The group drank it quickly.

October 3, 2014 - Very deep purple color with a narrow brick rim fading to clear. Aromas of dusty blackberry and graphite with hints of powdered spice lead into a soft, elegant palate, silky smooth with mild, slightly herbaceous tannins and a long gravelly finish. Excellent to drink over the next few years.

August 16, 2014 - Took to Mo'Cool picnic August 16. Tasted mature with some tobacco, autumn leaves, and dark currants. May have been a bit too mature for my taste but I know some Bordeaux drinkers prefer the more mature wines. Went quickly once opened so I didn't give it a second try.

February 16, 2013 - This was a real treat with steaks and a red wine mushroom reduction. Cork was dry and crumbled, but fill was good and wine was in lovely shape after a 4 hour decant. Tannins were completely integrated. Not a ton of depth on the nose, but the taste had many layers. I would drink this up in the very near future.
