January 10, 2024 - Served blind. 2nd white opened tonight by our host Ken. Medium yellow in the glass. Nose of white flowers, vanilla and buttercream. Palate of much the same with a touch more butter, oak and maybe just a tad flabby?

I'm not the best judge of aged Aubert. I tend to personally like them in the first 5 years, but that's on me. I know others need and want that age, but to me, they lose something over time. Very, very nice and much appreciated it being opened by our host.

June 24, 2023 - Really, truly a gorgeous wine that is still going strong. Similar impressions of our previous bottle.

May 19, 2023 - First day tasting-98 points with wonderful freshness and great complex flavors of citrus, white fruits, and tropical fruits. Terrific mouthfeel and nose. Four days later-89 points for a wine that had given up the ghost in our pumped down and refrigerated bottle. Very thin and insipid. Moral of the story, drink it within 24 hours of opening.

November 10, 2022 - IMO, too young. At the end of the evening it opened up. Otherwise this was a very closed wine. Hold for 5 years and then decant.

June 20, 2022 - Just when I think I've tasted the best Aubert chardonnay, a wine like this shows up in the cellar and knocks my socks off. We found it amazing. It drank well over three evenings with progressive improvement. It is clean and pure with lots of tropical fruit flavors and some oak that shows up a a bit of spice. This is really good and really worth the wait.
