September 17, 2023 - Consistent with my last notes but we did notice that this improve tremendously in the glass. I would suggest decanting this white for 30 minutes prior to consumption. It will surprise you.

January 24, 2021 - Not as mellow as last time. It actually feels like it's put a few pounds. It feels rounder. Or maybe it was the food, cause it matched our causa Limeña perfectly. And given that it's less than 0C outside, I can appreciate the viscosity and heartiness of this white.

June 23, 2020 - Clear, medium lemon. Clean nose. No premox. Notes of citrus, golden apples and wet stones. The nose is still interesting but this has lost the intensity and piercing acidity of three years ago. It may be a bit too mellow already. I hope it gains some weight in a year or so. Let's see how the next bottle does.

March 26, 2020 - Was looking forward to trying this, with a very good price on the wine list in Singapore. Not the best example of Aligote, probably because it was past its prime drinking window. Medium golden in the glass. Great aromatics of yellow apple, pear, citrus rind, gun flint. Light to medium body with a slightly creamy texture. Acidity, which should be naturally high in Aligote, seems to be dying down. It's present in the beginning, but as the wine approaches its aftertaste, there's nothing to be offered. Nose really promised a big PYCM wine, but unfortunately didn't deliver as I anticipated. Better luck next time I hope.
