February 4, 2024 - had this next to a F. Magnien Clos de Vouegeot. This was prettier - more polished, smoother, some sweet cranberry notes; but good acidicty; def feminine and not big or brooding in anyway; nice finish.

October 25, 2023 - Drinking great! Excellent balance, a noticeable earthy/mushroom tones, very refreshing acidity and comforting tannic structure to hold everything together. Definite delicious factor to help you finish the bottle in one sitting.

October 1, 2023 - popped and poured. at first it was too cold and as it opened it expressed itself. to me on the darker side of fruits - less sweet bing cherry - more darker cherry. the nose and mouthful gained more forest floor and earth as it opened - medium body but not heavy in any way. very Burgundian expression IMHO which is what i would have expected with Littorai. i enjoyed this a lot - more nuanced than a hit you over the head wine - cerebral in its leanings.

May 15, 2022 - Meaningfully better day 2 than day 1 - which tells me this one is still pretty tight. Interesting in that I’m finding Littorai 2014’s to be wide open generally - i guess I’m learning something about the vineyard. Agree that it’s a bit bigger than many Littorai Pinots, but again somewhat tightly wound - not that it won’t be approachable at all, but there’s some real complexity if you let it relax.

April 30, 2022 - PnP. Medium deep red. Great nose of berry liqueur with a touch of blood orange. Rich and deep on the palate with a lovely smooth texture. This seems bigger and more intense than typical for Littorai but it all works. Lovely wine which may improve but drinking beautifully now.
