ENGLISH:
Nose: Fresh sloes, blueberries, wonderfully fruity with a very fine mineral slate smoke, cassis, fresh elderberry, some violets, fresh olives,
Taste: Cassis, fresh and juicy, with fine vegetal notes, green bell pepper, juniper, laurel, some olives, fresh slate and even more juicy berries, blueberries, fresh red cherry, extremely silky tannins, elegant, rather light to medium body, beautiful minerality, some pomegranate and sour cherry on the finish, medium length
Comment: Very delicate and complex, needs some time to really discover it.
GERMAN (ORIGINAL):
Nose: Frische Schlehen, Blaubeeren, wundervoll fruchtig mit einem ganz feinen mineralischen Schieferrauch, Cassis, frischer Holunder, etwas Veilchen, frische Oliven,
Taste: Cassis, frisch und saftig, dazu feine vegetale Noten, grüne Paprika, Wacholder, Lorbeer, etwas Oliven, frischer Schiefer und noch mehr saftige Beeren, Blaubeeren, frische rote Kirsche, extrem seidige Tannine, eleganter, eher leichter bis mittlerer Körper, schöne Mineralik dabei, im Finish etwas Granatapfel und Sauerkirsche, mittellang
Comment: Sehr feingliedrig und komplex, fragt nach einiger Zeit um ihn wirklich zu entdecken. -

July 4, 2022 - Clear ruby-garnet. This is very pretty from the get go - sour cherry, violets and roses, a but of tobacco and leather, especially out of the empty glass. Medium + body with balanced, integrated acidity (at 12.8% abv). I think this could go 5-10 more years, but it's in a nice place now.

May 2, 2022 - had this before the 2014 littorai platt. this was very good; but the platt was really the WOTN for me. this was on the simpler lighter side and less complex. def burgundian in style but not as good as the platt
