February 16, 2023 - Very slight bricking at the rim - this wine still has life ahead of it if you have more in the cellar (I don't!). Lots of dark fruits here, fortunately no vegetal notes. On the palate, pretty balanced overall. Blackberry, espresso, notes of chocolate.

September 26, 2020 - No where near ready to drink IMO. Fruit and mocha but a lot of untamed tannins. Day 2 showed no real improvement. This one feels old world style and I think time could make this something special.

May 9, 2020 - Took hours to open up and let the fruit shine. Not as much complexity and flavor as prior bottles. Early on was a good food wine and nicely complemented skewered marinated beef.
