August 18, 2022 - Pretty straightforward but a nice entry level wine. Mid-palate finish. Not sure it will improve much from here but no rush to drink it. Would drink over the next few years.

May 1, 2022 - Tasted blind. Guessed 2008 Andrew Will Cellars Champoux Vineyard
Blackcurrant, blackberry, toast on the nose. Nice red. Fruit forward but shows some restrain. On the palate, it is full bodied, supple, toothsome. Finish could be longer but it is enjoyable, nonetheless. Still room for development IMHO. Drink within 8 years.

January 23, 2021 - Ripe cassis and on the simple side, but not excessively marked by oak. It is lacking tannin and acidity which makes it seem a little dilute despite the richness of the fruit, but it improved markedly when paired with a Flannery porterhouse.

August 5, 2020 - Good napa cab. Not a lot of complexity, but smooth tanins and ripe sweet fruit.

May 1, 2020 - PnP. Interesting wine. While I can’t say anything stuck out, this was a great entry level Cab.

December 8, 2019 - Wow--wonderfully mellow classic Cabernet that blended perfectly with filet mignon dinner. Great pairing!!

April 7, 2018 - Aerated and decanted for 60 minutes just as I did with my previous bottle last year. Unlike last year it did not need another hour to open fully. Lots of black cherry and raspberry, with hint of cocoa and moderate tannin. Overall, a very pleasant wine with a good quality price ratio. Wish I had more.

February 26, 2017 - The new oak was very notable. I would say it was not (imho) to the typical standard of sojourn. I refilled an empty half bottle to the very very top to test in 1-2 weeks, and left a little to test this evening. I would say that the fruit on PnP was minor, and did come up abit later (~2 hours). Lots of cedar and some coffee/chocolate hints.

Further examination needed to determine if it is just a period the bottle goes through (as some other '13 have good through) or something else. To be revisited
