July 23, 2016 - Very nice value, straw yellow color, a bit deeper than expected. Med-plus intensity, very good acid, creamy texture, notes of yeast, lime....nice long finish. Very enjoyable and food-friendly bottle for 10 bucks.

December 21, 2014 - Pinot Noir, Chardonnay, Gamay & Agliote. The nose is a mix of tropical & citrus. Fruity palate, but clean & fresh. Begs for cured/ salty bites as that complexity adds some balance to the fruity nature of this wine.

December 8, 2013 - This bottle has probably been standing on the retailer's shelves for a few years, as the cork was quite dry and did not expand after popping it. However, this has created a slight oxidation that lifts up the yeastiness of this wine. Aside that, this is a clean and light bodied sparkling with aromas and flavors of citrus and fresh red cherry and a slightly peppery finish.

August 26, 2011 - 8/23--25/2011 60% Pinot Noir; 20% Chardonnay; 20% Gamay. Pale yellow with many small and sm/med bubbles. Nose vaguely pleasant but unremarkable. Body a bit creamy, bigger than expected, but no interesting structure. Tapers off very quickly, but a little bit lingers. Bubbles don't (have time to?) play. (Second night still decent bubbles in glass; berry? more noticeable on palate. Taper of finish slightly less abrupt. Third night: slightly fewer bubbles; definite apple.) Not a horrible value at $15, but probably worth a bit more to get sparkling feel in addition to appearance. 82--86 pts.

July 29, 2011 - Tasty; Large bubbles, nothing tiny like a Pommery or something of that sort, but this is a much cheaper wine. Apples and toast, not fully dry, but not sweet buy any means. For the price I thought it was great QPR, but I also still like Mumm Napa at this price point. Will buy again.

December 25, 2009 - Maybe okay for an everyday bubbles but not that great even for the money, lacking depth or any nice appeal on the palate.

June 2, 2009 - 80% chardonnay, 20% pinot noir. Simplistic, slightly reductive nose. BUt for the price certainly not bad -- $17.99 or so. Rather lengthy finish for such a thing.

December 1, 2007 - Tasted this before buying, creamy for a Brut. Tasted good for the price (14.99) so picked some up for New Year's.
