March 20, 2023 - Day 1: Slightly sweet but not jammy with some nice spice. Very enjoyable and worth the aging. Day 2: lost most of it charm so pop and drink up.

March 13, 2022 - Red fruit is complicated by Christmas spice, garrigue and wild herds. Great depth and texture. Aromatically pleasing. At age eight, this wine is in full stride. My favorite Biale single vineyard Zinfandel. Good juice.

April 5, 2021 - Just a wonderful example of Napa Valley Zinfandel. Mostly blue and black fruit accompanied by wonderful spice notes with a touch of garrigue. Great depth and texture. Aromatically pleasing. Clearly my favorite Biale zin. Good juice.

December 25, 2019 - Dark fruit (typically more red fruit) dominant notes combine with a touch of underbrush and Christmas spice. Broad shoulders yet grace on the palate. Aromatically pleasing. This is an exciting iteration of this vineyard site. Good juice.

September 22, 2019 - On the nose-Big black fruits, black cherries, black raspberries, blueberries, cassis, black currants, red raspberries, dark chocolate, red flowers, fresh herbs

On the palate- Big black fruits and black cherries, black raspberries and blueberries, cassis and black currants, red raspberries and dark choclate, red flowers and fresh cut herbs, this wine is drinking perfectly right now with a great amount of acidity to keep the amazing fruit in check, I would give this wine about an hour or so to open up and show its stuff, I see this wine aging for another 5-7 years if not longer
