July 4, 2022 - Much stronger bottle than in autumn, very complex with attractive almost jammy fruit on the nose but impeccable acidity and balance on the palate

June 18, 2022 - Burlotto Barolo Tasting + X (Freiheit Vinothek, Ulm, Germany): Compared to the other great Barolo this night, the 2012 Monvigliero is certainly very good, but neither touching nor interesting. Solid, but boring. 90-91

March 12, 2022 - MN Valley Fine Wine Tasting Meetup $100 Plus Wine Event (Minneapolis, MN): Probably needs more time. Decanted this for 3 hours and offers floral, mint, earth, rustic notes and sour cherry. Medium plus finish. Tried it later in the tasting and improve some.

February 18, 2022 - The Host with the Prevost: Loved this Barolo, even though it's clear it's too early. Andy mentioned that it smelled like Rhone, and I completely agree with all the olives in the nose. The body is also extremely refined and delicate with bright red fruit, lovely acidity, and moderately gripping tannins. So damn good with tons of potential. Can't wait to taste this in time.

December 6, 2021 - BYO Litteraturhuset (Litteraturhuset i Oslo): Middels dyp rød, mørkere kjerne.
