September 15, 2019 - Blind tasting for my guest. Superb orange mature hue. Nose logically oxydised, lemony, crusched rhubarb, with full exotic and iodin flavours, as a reisling VT. Mouth straight, mineral, lively, franc quinine bitterness, reducted roots, finshing on shy brown honey notes. A complex and mature wine, witch balance is more on bitter. Clearly printed by a poor vintage. An old experienced wine who has still plenty to show even if his best window has passed.

Il sentait le chenin evolué, le coing, les epices, et sa couleur dorée le placait dans la décennie précédente ! En bouche, il était un peu monolithique mais présentait une belle tension, de la richesse, semblant ainsi ambivalent, a la fois jeune et mature; peut-etre un signe du millésime 2013 souvent compliqué dans bon nombre de régions françaises.
Tres belle finale saline a souhait, salivante. -
