October 9, 2021 - Three hour decant. Deep & bright purple-ruby approaching clarity at the edges. Aromas of smoked plum & blackberry, crushed stone, paprika, garrigue, lavender and five-spice. Rich flavors on the attack - adding ripe strawberry and cocoa dust to the notes seen on the nose, while highlighting its minerality with lots of stone and earth. Dense, stacked structure, with integrated flavors and still a bit of angle to the edges. Nice acidity and integration, with flesh and heft to the tannins and just a bit of give. Nice intensity on the finish with moderately long length. Very nice, I really like its freshness and verve relative to the category. Give it a longer drinking window than what's showing on the Cellar Tracker listing - stands to gain a point or two.

September 25, 2021 - Maybe a wee bit cellarmade and polished, but there is no doubting the origins here, plenty of garrigue, sweet Grenache, bowntyful wine.

November 7, 2020 - Visited the Winery in August. Very impressive operation. This wine has soft tannins and very soft and subtle fruit. Drinking well now, but will revisit in a year.

August 19, 2019 - Drank over two days and in fact –in this stage- the first day the wine was at its best. Primary and opulent and a small feast. Expressive and youthful, fruit forward bouquet with raspberries and blackberries, garrigue and some pepper. Same on the palate. Beautiful and juicy acidity and round tannin. Pleasant sweetness as well. Have a few more bottles, so there will be a follow up on this note, but probably not before 2022. 91 – 92 for now.
