  November 22, 2023 - drank a few weeks ago, just removing from cellar. Recall enjoying this, but felt it was in a slightly awkward intermediate stage without its juicy youthfulness, nor fully developed with mature aromatics. Not a fault of the wine, just think it’s in a little bit of a lull. At this point, I would hold another couple years.

  June 10, 2023 - Red fruit on the nose and palate. There was pepper and spice on the mid palate as well. Soft tannins.

  April 14, 2023 - Fantastically beautiful wine drinking beautifully now. Texture is silky with very fine tannins but a very light weight on the tongue. Fruit is present , plum on the nose and overripe raspberries on the palate. Incense on the nose and intense cigar box on the palate. When I was a kid, there was a molasses that wasn’t sweet. This wine. Elegance drives this wine. Finish is never ending. Drank with a baked tomato, salmon, rustic veggies, herbs, and brown rice. Classic combination that i’ll remember for a long time.
