December 3, 2023 - Developing texture but still surprisingly primary. Very hedonistic, ultimately I felt the alcohol was too much. Tannins are softened and seems like it’s heading somewhere but has a ways to go yet. Very nice body and texture.

August 29, 2023 - Beautiful developing nose shows red berry fruit, sage, violet, black pepper, clove, and smoke

Tannins are resolved and create a full mouthfeel and blend into a long and elegant finish. More fruit still showing through on the palate, but the development is definitely there. Everything in balance.

August 26, 2023 - This was drank at a local steakhouse after 45 minutes of decanting. The wine was clear and incredibly deep purple in colour. The nose was fairly muted but there were some ripe red cherries there. In the glass was a beautiful wine with flavours of red cherries, red berries, vanilla and a bit of smoke. The tannins were subdued while the acidicy was still quite strong. This had a very long finish to each sip.

November 6, 2022 - 90 minute decant. Reddish-purple in color, maybe a slight brownish tint. Strong ground black pepper nose, black licorice, hint of pine needle. Palate is red and black cherry, marshmallow, cracked pepper, hint of eucalyptus. Silky mouth feel, mid to full-bodied. Long, spicy finish. Nicely integrated experience of fruit and a range of secondary elements.
