July 17, 2023 - Prior bottle was 8 months ago and my notes were very similar with this wine drinking beautifully. Both black and red cherry, along with blackberry, earth and light spice notes on a distinctly Oregon pinot noir nose. Medium bodied and like my prior bottle, shows both black and red cherry upfront with the contrast and interplay between those two adding to complexity. Mid-body remains the highpoint of this wine, adding blackberry, deeper, darker black cherry and overall, simply showing elegance and expression. Fine grained tannins behind provide structure and tart blackfruit the balance as the wine smoothly transitions through the finish. The wine again showed impressively, but also again, in a style it should be able to maintain (no rush). I'll plan to save my final bottle for June/July 2024.

April 2, 2023 - Dark berry notes, some exotic spice and cola. A lighter weight style of Pinot than I prefer. Maybe this will take on weight with bottle age?

November 18, 2022 - Prior bottle was exactly a year ago and this wine continues to show superlatively and with consistent notes. Blackberry, black cherry and earth on the nose, along with some red fruit notes starting to creep in the longer its open. Medium bodied with both black and red cherry now upfront, along with deeper black cherry with blackberry and red cherry highlights through the middle. The mid-body in particular is a beautiful example of clarity and definition of fruit. Behind is balanced acidity along with fine grained tannins which provide the backbone while lifting up the wine without taking anything from the fruit. Transitions continue to be a strength and almost seamless. This wine is showing beautifully and in a fashion I believe it can maintain for at least another few years. Next bottle for me will be June/July 2023.

February 19, 2022 - Consistent with previous tasting note, and a real crowd (and me) pleaser - definitely wish there was more of this one in the cellar. So it goes.

November 19, 2021 - Prior bottle was almost nine months ago and my notes were consistent. Black cherry, blackberry and floral notes along with earth and spices. Medium bodied, perhaps just above that with a very pretty mix of black cherry and blackberry upfront. Mid-body adds some darker black cherry along black raspberry. These fruit notes are neatly integrated with the backside tart black cherry, acidity and fine grained tannins. Continues to show elegance and nuance with transitions that exemplify integration. I'll plan to open my next bottle in June/July 2022.
