October 4, 2021 - Note: This wine's label matches the one appearing with this CT designation and is a Bdx blend of Cabernet Sauvignon, Malbec, and Petit Verdot; it does not include the "Corte" designation. Bought a 12b case for 10/b (after 2/b rebate) from the neighborhood shop of a local chain 5+ years ago; this is #2. Solid cork. Decanted with almost no sediment. Dark purple; red and blue berries, bit of oak; mature berries, blueberry emerges, fair mouthfeel. Good, tasty everyday New World Bdx blend--not special but a solid performer. Stored horizontally in a cool, dark basement since purchase. My evaluation (see earlier posts for my 4-category, non-point rating system): This is notable when considering quality, age, and price.

December 14, 2019 - Not sure I want to rate ...I can’t agree with vinohunter more....my additions ...disjointed. Has plenty of power and fruit...but is out of balance and the carmelized edge is concerning. I also have 1 more of 6 so I’ll wait a bit and see how it changes. put 1/2 bottle in a clean 375ml, vacuum pumped and stored overnight in the fridge. Greatly improved the next day...much more integrated and harmonious. funny a Carmel edge still is integrated in with the fruit core....which doesn't make it seem like an oxidation flaw :). My assessment is this needs more time and I drank most of them too fast.

November 22, 2019 - Second cab of the night. First was Australian so it made sense to go to Argentina ;) Not sure what was going on, but this wine was singing tonight. Rich, caramelized nutty nose. Smooth, dry with dark chocolate notes. Short semi dry finish. Incomparable to my other bottles. One more bottle left of 6, hopeful the last will sing as well.

April 21, 2019 - Good BBQ wine. Came across hotter in this tasting than before. Fruit fading.
