June 5, 2020 - reserved at first, some primary fruit, tasting like northern cali restrained pinot, but there is a pure dusty burgundian cherry on the end. Nicely integrated. very fine tannins. seem like a short to mid term drinker.

June 4, 2020 - Late to the Party Zoom (well, google) Tasting (Google Meet): Double blind tasting, unlike its flight-mate, this one screamed pinot. Guesses, however, were mixed between Burgundy and CA. I thought it showed pretty true to NSG, a bit chunky with darker fruit, not the acidity and cranberry of the CA guesses. Clearly the more serious and age-worthy of the two pinots, this was still quite drinkable now, definitely not the hard tannins of old-style Gouges.

February 2, 2020 - no notes so NR, but remember this being nice with tons of potential but still pretty darn tight over 2 or 3 nights... I remember the body being there (more than I see in many '14s)... I would wait about 5 years for my next (if I am disciplined)

July 4, 2018 - Young and structured but really lovely. The fruit is concentrated and juicy and the texture is surprisingly elegant. Classy but one to age.

March 18, 2017 - Great young burgundy. Surprisingly open. Great balance, wonderful palate and clean and long on the finish. This might well go to sleep, and should be more complex in a decade, but was a pleasure tonight.
