December 20, 2019 - This continues to be great and wonderfully open, with tar and roses in the noses and lots of fruit. The tannins are clearly present, but settle down after a bit of time in the glass (no decant needed). Undoubtedly, this is not a shy or reserved wine, but it has great balance and drinks so well now while I keep the 10, 12 and 13 packed deep in storage.

December 19, 2019 - Lovely violet nose, cherries, so forward is the fruit. This could be guzzled now but a bit of an alcoholic bomb.

October 29, 2019 - Wonderful. Youthful but very open for drinking. Beautiful nose with flowers and some leather, wonderful fruit with herb and savory notes and a long and clean finish. Flavorful, developing complexity, great balance. Lovely.

September 29, 2019 - Fully resolved and mellow, which is a bit of a surprise. The potpurri of spices reminds and the way the fruit sits reminds of Rayas but with a nebbiolo frame. Lush and soft with no tannin left, this is good to go and I wouldn't try to get it to old bones since it is superb now.

September 11, 2019 - What a beauty. Sweet and floral perfume. Has a pure and mature quality about it. Really no need to hold onto it - tannins are hardly noticeable. The fruit is sweet and high toned with a slight char at the end, and the finish lingers with the taste of licorice.
