March 26, 2022 - Delicious! Savory funky flavors of blackberry fruit, pepper, grilled meat and a salinity/minerality component. Complex and elegant at the same time, very harmonious wine. A joy to drink. Enjoy now - 2029.

December 19, 2021 - Viognier definitely making a showing. Long finish, lighter in color than I remembered. Some of the funk has blown off and feels like a more balanced wine. Drinking well right now…I say drink up vs hold.

September 1, 2021 - Clear medium red with a bit of purple. Very pure earthy blueberry fruit, hints of thyme and balsamic. Made me guess Zinfandel. Dry rich berry and pepper flavours and a long dry finish.

May 26, 2019 - Great savory syrah, lots of funky, black Rocks fruit, brine, grilled beef, black pepper. Still has many years of upside. Drink now - 2029.

March 31, 2018 - The wine is super young at this stage. The nose and palate are really dominated by fresh ground black pepper. Under that there is some green bell pepper, olive, black plum, cherry, blackberry. Good structure, but I really wanted a bit more acidity. It is like salt, just a pinch more of acid and the flavours would really pop. Really really good wine right now, interesting to see how age treats this.
