May 8, 2012 - Light yellow. Shale with some petroleum tendencies on the nose. Fruity, with peach aromas. Very elegant and creamy style. Nice acidity. This will hold for many years. Impressive kabinett.

November 1, 2010 - Pale yellow color Hardly anything on the nose. The taste is a different story. Almost overwhelmingly acidic and tart. Almost like lemonade. My wife thinks there is a little bit of honey in there but you have to dig too hard to find it. This is not what I expected at all. Drinkable - yes. But tough to appreciate.

July 11, 2008 - Pale fruit complexion, like a yellow that's faded to white, and a soft mouthfeel that leaves you craving more cut.

March 26, 2008 - David Bowler Spring Tasting; 3/26/2008-3/30/2008 (Tribecca Grill): aging well - but rather full of petrol now. long middle, fresh, bit short of the finish, lacks the power the better wines of the vintage had

June 16, 2006 - Heavy on the acidity, lacks the verve of some of the better 2001 Kabinetts I've had. Decent, but lacks clarity I expected.
