  November 11, 2020 - Medium/ dark purple color
  Nice aromas of ripe red/ black fruit with fresh herbaceous character and an intense iron/ blood minerality
  Medium palate of red/ blue fruit - no real secondaries
  Medium plus acidity and nice grippy tannins - medum/ medium plus level
  Little hot but remains well balanced with decent finish
  This wine is still drinking well and may have more to offer with some more time

  June 11, 2020 - Dark ruby/ purple with mild clearing
  Medium plus aromas of intense red/ black fruit with dried herbs and mint with leather/ smoke and dry rocks minerality with moderate oak influence - very complicated and beautiful
  Medium bodied - mostly red fruit and rather hollow actually
  Medium plus tannins which are fairly well integrated
  Medium plus acidity and medium plus ETOH with medium finish
  Consistent with previous notes, the aromas are gorgeous but palate is a little lacking and tight
  This might benefit from 3-5 yrs to allow tannins to meld but not sure the fruit intensity is there

  January 19, 2020 - Medium ruby with mild clearing
  Medium plus aromas of red/ blue fruit with strong secondary aromas of pepper/ tobacco and dried herbs with touch of oak
  Medium palate of red fruit and fresh fig with oak spice
  Medium plus acidity and medium plus tannins which are fairly well integrated
  Medium finish with a feeling of high alcohol
  Will wait 2-3 years for tannins to meld though I am unsure the medium palate will benefit from this
  Second time with this grape and similar findings - wonderfully complex and pleasant aromatics but a bit lacking on the palate
