November 13, 2019 - Very correct and clean claret. The balance is impressive, with dark fruit, medium body, and nicely integrated oak and tannins. Lacks the complexity to merit a higher score, but overall a very nice wine. Might improve upon further cellaring. 91+

May 14, 2019 - Angelica wine club - Bordeaux (Strand Cellars, Croydon): From Coravin prior to double decanting. Spiced wild blackcurrant, a little Ribena, cedar, a little leather. Juicy, similar flavour profile to the nose, tannins are silky but slightly drying. Yum.
A little blackcurrant, sweet spice, tends to cassis, dark chocolate. Juicy, fleshy, cassis, blackcurrant. Tight tannins, still showing younger than the other two 2005's. Yum.
Called this as the Croizet Bages...oops

    February 13, 2019 - Tasted blind.

Nice bouquet of cassis and earthiness. Feels like a warmer vintage.
Very balanced and enjoyable, still some fruit in the palate and well-developed tannins. Modest complexity mid-palate. Good but not amazing length.

I got this completely wrong. This wine is punching above its weight. I really enjoyed it.
Not the best or most complex left bank Bordeaux out there but a very good one indeed that is drinking very well.
Seems good value for money to me.
