  May 21, 2019 - Tropical fruit predominates but the slight grassiness noted two years earlier has dissipated in favor of a bit of honey. Delicious.

  May 1, 2019 - Opened a bottle stored @ winery for dinner: Smooth, like the more recent vintage but deeper, touch of caramel. The tropical notes have given way a bit to more citrus fruit but unfortunately it’s now out of balance and there is a preponderance of acid, which isn’t a good thing. This wine really needs that warm tropical fruit balance - although the aging potential of this Sauvignon Blanc are touted, I’m not sure it’s working for this vintage. It could be in a weird place and come back to its senses in another couple years, but it's hard to recommend holding something that is so tremendous in its youth. I plan on drinking mine early.
