July 10, 2017 - Bought NZ Cellar online, UK approx £14.00

Not a stunner Martinborough (NZ) Pinot Noir, but perfectly acceptable if not exceptional, I suppose.

Zilch nose, nothing there at all - ok, a little wood if I'm being generous. It gets better , though: rich ripe fruit with acid to balance (at 3 yrs old), soft tannin easy-drinking style now, some intensity in flavours of warm spice, probably too much oak, let down by a slight green edge at end. Light-Med body. Clear.

VFM? Not a bargain at £14.00, but will buy again in good vintage.

January 13, 2017 - This was a very good value, very drinkable, sweet pinot.

October 9, 2016 - Pinotpalooza (Carriageworks, Redfern): red currant and apple, quite metallic as well. It's spice on the palate…too spiced in fact…nah
