May 16, 2018 - Retailer tasting. The wine was dark ruby in colour and offered red fruit, coffee, spice, roasted notes and glycerin on the palate, with medium-level acidity, smooth tannin and good length. The broad, medium-bodied wine would benefit from more freshness, but I can see the wine's outstanding smoothness winning people over. Easy to like!

March 24, 2017 - Eðalklúbbur, vínsmakk #3 vor 2017 (Marbakkabraut 12): Meðaldökkur, flottur litur. Ferskur ilmur. Vanilla, dökkir ávextir, málmkenndir tónar, járn. Í munni sæta, dökkir ávextir, jarðartónar, steinefni og apótekaralakkrís. Flott jafnvægi. Bragðið pínu flatt miðað við ilminn sem var virkilega góður. Einnig í sætara lagi. Cirerets er á 25€.

July 5, 2016 - Darker crimson. Bold aromas of baking spice and cherry and the initial tastes are of rich red fruits. With air, tended to close a bit and lose structure.
