September 4, 2020 - Has lost weight. Bit lean but very drinkable, clean and light citrus plus some good green vegetal notes. Medium length. Still very drinkable and fresh.

July 18, 2020 - I’m a big believer that great wines come from great winemakers. This wine would be an exception. Hoping to get some DRC brilliance from this Challonaise wine was probably too much. As others have noted, this is a thin wine. Not much on the nose and the palate gives up some citrus and honey - but not much. The kicker is the finish which is quite reductive. It’s a mild sulfur finish that just won’t blow off - and I’ve had multiple bottles of this wine and vintage. Not sure what is up with their process or vintage.

May 16, 2020 - defines a 'table wine', easy to like w/ amenable tangy orchard & citrus fruit, fairly lively, plays supporting role w/food as expected. time to drink.

seared nc black bass; roasted fennel, spring onion & asparagus; citrus vinaigrette

May 7, 2020 - Nice aromas of lemon, and tart green apples. Tasty balanced acidity. Really easy to approach, altho the middle palate is lacking and feels thin. Again a simple and solid drinker, and one that really reminds me of chablis.

August 15, 2018 - Think COS65 has it right. Beautifully balanced wine, simple but delightful. Pale gold, plenty floral aromatics. Grapefruit and lemon. Fine acidity. Just disappears within seconds. Lovely drink, simple can be very good. Drinking very well now.
